June 14, 2012

Murray & Susan left this morning going down to Yellowstone Park. They were going to hike up to Tower Falls & Artist Point to take photos. Beth, David, Carol & myself are hanging out at cabin. We may hike down to the Yellowstone river later today. We are enjoying views and not having to drive around so much. Planning a float trip on friday and ma ybe a rodeo later that evening. I beleive Carol is getting homesick, she just stares out the cabin window.

    Hi all,
    I sure am enjoying the pictures and the dialogue. I hope you all are still having a good time - wish Carol wasn't homesick, but I guess the ole adage is true: "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home." We have really missed you at church.

    We had a wonderful meeting - four excellent sermons. There were no responses, but I expect that we all took away much food for thought.

    There were 75 people there the last night of our meeting, and lots of icecream and cookies were consumed. Most everyone stayed to fellowship, and that was very nice.

    I have Jack and Grant for a few days. Jane fell over a toy left on the front steps and sprained her left ankle and broke one of the toes on her right foot. Today the boys and I went to Pizza Hut, Wally, the park and one junk store. It is very hot here - around 91 degrees today. Van is late with a budget meeting, and I am planning a good nutritious chicken nugget meal for my picky eaters.

    I guess I will quit boring you for now. Keep the beautiful scenery coming. I hope the float trip is safe and enjoyable. I remember us floating the Buffalo one time. I think Van and I capsized at least twice before we learned that we were sitting the wrong way in our boat. At that time, I was much lighter than he was, and we were sitting incorrectly. Once w
